This reflects the stability and continued growth of the Russian outbound market, destinations such as Bulgaria, China, Dubai, Greece, Israel, Italy, Switzerland, Tanzania, Turkey, and VisitBritain have secured larger stands for their national participation. VisitScotland will exhibit on the stand of VisitBritain. Firmly established as the leading travel trade event for Russia and the CIS, MITT annually welcomes some 2500 companies from over 111 countries and regions world-wide. MITT is also a member of the WTO and has an UFI accreditation. As the demand for travel services in Russia grows and the spending power of Russian travellers becomes more well known, the popularity of the event has continued to grow. Last edition the event recorded an attendance of 79,930, 73% of whom were travel trade professionals.
