Description Messe Berlin has been successfully organizing the World's Leading Travel Trade Show, ITB Berlin, for over 40 years, taking place annually in March in Germany. Over 110,000 trade visitors come each year to see over 11,000 exhibitors from over 180 countries and regions. Now ITB is bringing its expertise and know-how to Asia - one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing travel market places in the world. ITB Asia is a B2B trade show and convention for the travel industry and is designed to become the primary event for the Asia Pacific travel industry, much like its parent event, the ITB Berlin itself. Each October since 2008, ITB Asia has attracted over 6,000 participants from the leisure, meetings, and corporate travel sectors. Messe Berlin (Singapore) positions ITB Asia as The Trade Show for the Asian Travel Market. Today, ITB is the premier meeting place in the travel trade industry, forum for establishing new customer contacts and conducting business, guaranteeing high-quality customer contacts. Also the next ITB Asia will take place at Suntec Singapore. Some 21,000 buyer-seller meetings are expected. Hundreds of buyers will meet with exhibitors who are keen to tap into Asia’s soaring demand for travel products and services. Some 62% of all hosted buyers scheduled to attend will represent travel markets in Asia Pacific. ITB Asia organizer, Messe Berlin (Singapore), expects Europe will supply 26%, up from 16% last year.
