Description The Salone Internazionale del Mobile was founded in 1961 as a vehicle for promoting Italian furniture and furnishings exports and soon became the most keenly awaited event in the world of furniture. EUROLUCE, the International Lighting Exhibition, runs concurrently, in the broader context of the Salone del Mobile. Milano, with Workplace3.0, thus boosting the range of design and contract goods on offer, and continues its mission to showcase the very latest in lighting solutions for homes, offices, hospitality and the outdoors, as well as light sources and lighting design software. With 38,000 square metres of exhibition space and 450 of the best exhibitors in the sector, half of which foreign, the International Lighting Exhibition is recognised as the global benchmark lighting exhibition, where technological innovation and design culture take centre stage. The huge array of goods encompasses the very latest devices for outdoor, indoor and industrial lighting to lighting for shows and events, hospital lighting and special use lighting, home automation and lighting systems, light sources and lighting application software. La vasta offerta merceologica spazia dalle novità in fatto di apparecchi per l’illuminazione da esterni, da interni, industriali, per spettacoli ed eventi, per il settore ospedaliero, per usi speciali a quelle in fatto di sistemi di illuminazione e domotica, sorgenti luminose e software per le tecnologie della luce.
